In Which, The Satus of my Paper

In my previous post, I discussed how much I wanted to procrastinate on my paper for Honors 211 at the University of Maine. Truth be told, after writing that post, I didn’t proscrastinate on starting the paper for much longer. I got started on it almost immediately after posting.

However, I continued to procrastinate on it by taking breaks.

Currently, I’m on my fifth page; the minimum alloted number of pages for this paper. I’m not done yet, but I am drawing to a close, almost. All in all, I’m about halfway done.

I’m thinking about calling it quits for the night, but I know I should keep going.

 

In Which, Back At It

I’m back at the grindstone. I returned to college after my two week Spring Break. But alas! it was too short. And much too stressful.

Luckily, I only have two classes tomorrow, so I can ease back into school. Now, if only I can stay awake during those classes. I really haven’t had to go to class after having been on Lexapro for an extended period of time. It’s been at least three weeks and I’m still having that really tired, over exhausted side effect. I guess when I go back to the psychiatrist next week, I’ll be changing medications again.

Fantastic.

 

In Which, Progress

Well, I’m finally making some progress with this whole depression thing. Or, really, I’m taking a step toward making progress with this whole depression thing.

The other day, I called up the counseling center here at college and made an appoinment. I have an appointment on Monday.

So, I’ll wait and see how that goes, and then post an update here on Monday.

 

In Which, Nothing Exciting

Okay, I really have to try and work harder on keeping this blog updated. There is a gigantic gap between, I think it is, Novemeber, and what I wrote this past weekend. That is not good. And not acceptable.

So, here’s a post that really has no purpose at all, except for me just to say that I wrote something.

Anyway, I’m still up here, at UMaine at Orono. Nothing much has changed. I managed to survive my first semester. I also managed to make it on the Dean’s List for the first semester. And for that, I am rather proud of myself.

Right now, I’m procrastinating on finishing editing a paper for my English course. And I’m hoping my roommate gets back soon so we can go to the gym, and I can procrastinate some more.

 

In Which, Snow

It’s snowing again.

I know, I know. It’s northern Maine and it’s December. I should expect snow. I just thought I should point it out. This is our forth snow so far.

It ended up really just being a dusting and melting the next day. But it was still pretty.

 

In which, It Is The Author’s First Real Day of College

I am dreading patiently awating my first class of the day. CHY 121. Introduction to Chemistry.

Followed shortly thereafter by MAT 126. Also known as Calculus I.

I finish off my classes today with more fricken Chemistry.

And then I still have to watch the Honors lecture that I miss with my second round of Chemistry.

Ugh. How did my schedule end up sucking so much? Oh, I know. Because I decided to be a stupid, Biology major.
